Francesco Tudisco

Hi!

I am Associate Professor (Reader) in Machine Learning in the Applied and Computational Mathematics research group at the University of Edinburgh, School of Mathematics. I am also affiliated with the Numerical Analysis and Data Science group at the Gran Sasso Science Institute, an International School of Doctoral Studies and one of the Italian Superior Graduate Schools. My research interests lie at the intersection between machine learning and scientific computing. My recent work includes the design and analysis of physics-inspired deep learning models for scientific simulations and climate forecasting, machine learning approaches to OOD, deep learning models compression and speed-up, theoretical analysis of neural networks in the infinite width and infinite depth limits.
