We are starting this week a reading group on Computational Learning, which will concentrate on papers in the general area of Numerics/Optimization/Matrix Theory/Graph Theory with particular emphasis on their application to / connection with Machine Learning, Data Mining and Network Science. The reading group is organized by PhD students and postdocs from the Numerics and Data Sciene group at GSSI. The organizer that is kicking off the initiative is Dayana Savostianova, who will also present the first paper.
